Yoga Workshop: Arm Balances & Inversions

Join Lindsi + Barb for a fun and challenging workshop where we dive deep into tricky arm balances and inverted postures. This is a chance for you to refine your technique, build strength, and improve flexibility. Our safe approach will increase your access to these more advanced poses.
$35 early bird / $40 day of

• Some experience with yoga suggested.

Intro to Hoop Dance (Part 2)

Dive a little deeper into the art of beginner hoop dance! Join hoop dancer Lindsi Kay for a 4-week workshop series that picks up right where we left off at the end of our last beginner’s series. We’ll be practicing new on-body and off-bodyhooping technique, isolations, transitions, and sequencing. Hoops will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!

* Pre-requisites: This series is designed for beginners who are comfortable with waist hooping and hand hooping.

AcroYoga Flash Mob

10 Week Performance Series

Get your dance pants on. Join Lindsi + Buddy of the Slackrobats as they teach a fresh and funky AcroYoga dance, to be performed by the group in FLASH MOB style at the end of the series. Technique and choreography will be learned and refined over the course of 8 weeks, followed by 1-2 planned pop-up performances to WOW unsuspecting crowds and dazzle them with your newly refined flow. No dance or performance experience required.

• Come with or without a partner.
• No dance experience necessary.
• Some experience with AcroYoga required.

Aerial Yoga

Yoga in flight. A gentle and accesible class for all. Wednesday evenings are a Level 2 offering.

• Limited to 12 students.
• No experience necessary.

Part ballet barre, part aerial yoga, this 1 hour class is designed to get you strong, fit, and flexible in no time. All levels welcome!  Lindsi Kay is a long term sub for this class.

• Limited to 12 students.
• No experience necessary.

AcroFusion (Youth)

A fun and unique youth dance program that combines acro, hoop dance, partner poses, and circus yoga to create a dynamic performance-focused class that meets weekly for 10 months. This program culminates in a final performance at the Terpsichorean Annual Recital.

Acrobatic Dance (Youth)

This is a comprehensive 2-level youth program which combines partner acrobatics (acroyoga) and dance to create a dynamic technique-based class that meets weekly September-June. Students will train flexibility, strength, solo acrobatics, partner acrobatics, musicality, sequencing, and dance.

Strength + Stretch

Strength & Stretch was created to build core and major muscle group strength, endurance, balance and flexibility using muscle confusion as the main focus.  It uses multi-disciplinary techniques to develop well-rounded athleticism. Dancers, cross trainers and even beginners can take this class.

Acrobatic Dance

This is a comprehensive 2-level youth program which combines partner acrobatics (acroyoga) and dance to create a dynamic technique-based class that meets weekly September-June. Students will train flexibility, strength, solo acrobatics, partner acrobatics, musicality, sequencing, and dance.

 

Acro Fusion 1 (Youth)

A fun and unique kids dance program that combines acro, hoop dance, partner poses, and circus yoga to create a dynamic performance-focused class that meets weekly for 10 months. This program culminates in a final performance at the Terpsichorean Annual Recital.

 

Acro Fusion 2/3 (Youth)

Designed for our more advanced students. A comprehensive dance program which combines hoop dance, partner acrobatics, and circus yoga to create a dynamic performance-based class that meets weekly for 10 months. This program culminates in a final performance at the Terpsichorean Annual Recital.

 

AcroYoga 1 (Adult)  

A beginners 10-week course, meeting every Tuesday beginning January 9th. This series is designed for ABSOLUTE beginners in AcroYoga. We will start at square one to build foundational technique from the ground up! This class will include strength, flexibility, and technique training. No partner or experience required.

 

AcroYoga: Dance Lifts  

Prepare to discover your inner dancer in this fun and creative dance-centric AcroYoga class. We’ll be practicing acro poses and techniques, sequencing, flexibility, tempo, and musicality.

• Come with or without a partner.
• No dance experience necessary.

A weekly workshop-style yoga class that will elevate your arm balance and inversion practice. Each class will include elements of conditioning, balance technique, training progressions, injury prevention, and a whole lot of fun pushing your own edge. All levels welcome.

 

Foundations of AcroYoga

Join us as we explore the world of partner acrobatics. This class focuses on foundational skills, so it would be ideal for those just entering this practice. Content will change weekly and will increase in skill level as the room advances.

 

Hoop Fit Fusion

Hula hoops aren’t just for kids anymore…Join Bend hoop dancer LindsiKay for a fun spin on a great workout! We’ll be utilizing the hoop to reach our fitness goals in a creative, low-impact way. Can’t keep the hoop up? Don’t worry! We’ll be learning technique as we go, so absolutely zero hooping experience is required. Each session will contain mild cardio activity and unique strength training for muscles you didn’t know you had!

 

Intro to Hoop Dance (Part 1)

Dip your toes into the art of beginner hoop dance! Join hoop dancer Lindsi Kay for a 4-week series to practice entry level hula hoop technique and flow. We’ll be learning on-body tricks such as waist hooping, chest hooping, knee hooping, and shoulder hooping. We will also train off-body technique, practicing moves like the weave, vortex, jump-throughs, lasso, isolations, and more! Once we’ve mastered a few tricks, we’ll begin linking them together, transforming our individual hoop tricks into a sequenced hoop dance. This class is designed for beginners. No dance or hoop experience necessary. Hoops will be provided, or you can bring your own!
